Beautiful Day

It's a beautiful day in SW Florida. The high was 77 degrees and we are supposed to be having a pretty chilly Thanksgiving this year! I've been busy lately trying to get things started with my photography business. So far so good! I have two shoots set up for this coming Saturday! I finally added a Facebook page which has been helpful. I also did a couples photo shoot last weekend, which went very well! I am so excited for this journey! Here are a few photos from my last shoot!

 

They turned out beautifully and I am so happy!

On another note Thanksgiving is just a few days away and I can not wait to enjoy time with family and friends and feast on some wonderful food! I hope everyone is having an amazing week!

It's already November!

November is here, I love this time of year! October was a great month! I worked tons, did lots of school work, Did a photo shoot and made great memories with my family and friends. I am very excited that I already have another photo shoot set up toward the end of this month! Here are a couple photos from my Pumpkin Patch photo shoot.

 

 

 I am so excited for this Holiday season! I have gotten so much more Holiday decor this year, and I just can not wait to put it out! I have gotten about 35-40 new Hallmark Ornaments, and a couple new snowman decorations, as well as a Santa Claus, and I also got a Christmas Yankee Candle tart warmer that I can not wait to use. ( I bought a skeleton tart warmer from Yankee and I loved it so much I got one for Christmas too!) I am also ready for all of the Christmas music, the Christmas movies, spending time with family and friends, as well as seeing everyone with Holiday cheer! I just adore this time of year!

Oh, But I've Done It Again...

 

I got so caught up and didn't blog for a while and I am not very happy about it! Other than that though life has been great! Our Engagement Party was last weekend and boy was it amazing! We got everything ready in the two days leading up to the party. We made banners, wrapped bows around mason jars, hung lights, and so much more. It turned out better than we thought and Mike and I couldn't be any happier!

Since the Engagment Party things have went back to normal, work, school, the dogs, the house, and my amazing man!I decorated for Halloween/ Fall this week as well! Here is some of our Decor around the house.

I absolutely love the Holidays! All of them. They bring people together, theres amazing food, wonderful decorations, and different music. I feel as soon as the first day if Fall comes the Holiday Season is in full swing! So in our house all of the Holiday fun is in full gear! I've already started drinking Pumpkin Lattees, eating Pumpkin Muffins and wanting Pumpkin Pie! Speaking of coffee...

 This morning was very nice, Mike and I don't usually have mornings off together but this morning we did. So we watched a little bit of Greys Anatomy and drank some coffee together! We like Vanilla creamer but as soon as we find some pumpkin spice creamer were going to test out Pumpkin Spice and Vanilla mixed creamer and see if we like that.

 

 

 

 

 I work today at five and then a double tomorrow! So I'll be busy busy busy. And I am going to continue to try to blog more! Other than that life is GREAT! So until next time...

 

 

 

 

 



Oh September...

There are so many great things going on this September! Our Engagement Party is in less than three weeks, my sisters Birthday Party is this coming Saturday, and September 22nd is the first day of Fall, which means I can start decorating! I am so excited about this month it is not even funny! This summer was great but I am so ready for Fall. I am ready for the decorations, the pumpkin flavored everything, the great food, the quality time with friends and family, the weather changing, and the wonderful feeling that comes with all of these things!

Mike and I's weekend was great! We worked and got to spend some quality time together and then on Labor Day we were both off which was awesome, because that very rarely happens! So we started off our day with a cup of coffee and some cinnamon rolls and I did a little studying for an online quiz I had, which I got a 95% on! I am happy about that! 

We then went to a family friends house to swim in the pool and play some volleyball and after that we went to Mike's moms for a BBQ. The food was delicious, even though I ate way too much. I have been doing so good with my "some what kind of diet" I'm on. I lost 12 pounds last month, but I slacked off this weekend! 

 

So overall our weekend was great and today it was back to work! But it wasn't so bad the day flew by very quickly. Now I have the rest of the evening off to watch some Greys Anatomy! 

And.. Another Month Bites the Dust!

Well tomorrow is September 1st which means many different things to me: 20 days until our engagement party, football season is here, season is almost here for both of my jobs, my little sister turns 12, I get to finally start decorating for Fall and the Holidays, and there is probably a lot more things that September mean to me right now I just can't think of them all! Last year I said I was going to become a member of the 2013 Hallmark Ornament Club, because I had gotten so into them last year. Well I did and the ornament premier was July 15th, and Ive marked all of the ones that I want in the Hallmark Ornament Book. There's between 30 and 40 ornaments that I want and so far I have gotten 17, because I decided in order for me to get all of the ones I want without spending a fortune I will buy one or two a week. Some of the ones I have gotten though are limited editions and they are not included in the ones I want from the Hallmark Ornament Book. So in all actuality by Christmas I'll probably have gotten between 40 and 50. Here are the ones I have gotten so far. 

That's them so far, I know it's a weird collection (obsession), but the thing I love about it is is my amazing fiance supports my crazy collections ( Hallmark Ornaments, Jim Shores Mickey's, Disney Movies, and Anything Mickey.) He's just so great! Speaking of him our engagement party is coming so soon. I still have tons to do but this week we received our corn hole bags, our straws for our mason jars, and I also purchased a cute sign to hang on the front door!

I love the stuff so far! I am thinking about doing something different a few days a week on my blog, like maybe Friday Letters, or Friday Favorites or something of the sort I just haven't quite decided yet, so we will see!

 

Back to School

      My Fall semester of College has began and as of right now I'm excited about it! Only one more semester after this and I will have my AA. Then it's on to my degree! 

      I have a new favorite show that I am completely stuck on... 

      Yeah Greys Anatomy. I started watching it from the first season last week and I am already on season three. I'm not too much of a TV person but this show has got me hooked. 

      Another thing I have been busy with lately is our engagement party! Things are coming together so far but there is still a lot to do. I ordered a few things this week and I also finished the invitations and got those sent out. Little by little until we get the job done. :) just a few more weeks, and Michael and I are beyond excited! Here is a look at our invites! 

      I've also been slacking on working on photography. I think after the engagement party I will be able to focus on it more.  

     Other than that life has been amazing!

I did not forget...

I did not forget about my blog, I have just been so busy this year it's crazy but it's been wonderful! The house is great, the dogs are growing up so fast, and life itself has just been wonderful! I guess ill start with things in order. I ended up picking up a second job again in the end of March! I am a waitress at a fine dining restaurant called Cristofs. I like it a lot. Mike and I then saved up and went on a cruise right before summer started!

 

 

It was absolutely beautiful and we had an amazing time! Minus the fact that on our way home from the port my car broke down and we had to get it towed home. Once we got home I had a lot of work done to it, to find out it needed even more work than that and it really wasn't worth it to fix. I was bummed!  

But a little while after we got back from our cruise I decided to ask a friend if she would like me to do a photo shoot for her sons first birthday! She allowed me to do so and the pictures came out pretty good considering this was my first photo shoot!

 

 

 

My grandparents came to visit in June, which I was so excited about, they are two of the most important people in my life, I don't know what I would do without them. God has truly blessed me! They did something for me this time when they came to visit that I could never thank them enough for. My grandfather decided that he would sell me his car, which is a 2010 Toyota Corolla with only 30,000 miles on it, I was really surprised and thankful. So they drove it down here and then spent two weeks here! Which were awesome, I love spending time with them!

I was very sad the day that they left, Michael had to work that morning so I went and said goodbye by myself, but when I got home Michael proposed! That's right were ENGAGED!!! And I couldn't be more excited about it!

 

That's all that's been going on in my life thus far! Everything is just GREAT!
